Culpeper County Public Schools are at a crucial crossroads when school board leadership will determine if attention and resources will be directed to our student’s education or be derailed to political issues that have no bearing on math, English, science and other educational outcomes. I enthusiastically support Kelley Pearson to represent the Salem District. Kelley is an accomplished high school administrator and former classroom educator trusted by the teachers, parents and students she has counseled and worked with for decades in Culpeper. As a former board chair and two term member of the Culpeper County School Board, I have witnessed her commitment to insure students graduate with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenges they face in the workforce or at community college or university. Kelley Pearson will focus on student achievement, not political pandering, and our students and community will reap the rewards.
