As you can see, 27 of my 31 years in public education were as a high school Assistant Principal here in Culpeper County Public Schools. Time just flew by…and we often used to say, “There are good days and bad days, but never a dull day!”
Throughout the years, when CCHS was the only high school in Culpeper, we worked with ALL the public school teenagers in the county. As some of you may recall, my name was Kelley A. Fabish for many of those CCHS years — and in fact, even today, I can often tell the year(s) when people knew me in school by whether they call me Mrs. Fabish or Mrs. Pearson!
At CCHS and EVHS, I worked personally with many of our Salem District residents (and Culpeper citizens) when they were either students, parents, colleagues, employees, other service providers, or community members. By supporting our students — and by contributing our time and energy to students — we ALL assist in the development and betterment of young people and future adults. As a life-long educator, I believe these efforts are wise, continued investments in the future of our Culpeper community.
I welcome the opportunity to connect with Salem District residents (and other community members) to discuss my educational qualifications and experience… and to address any questions or concerns you may have. And I always enjoy reconnecting with former Blue Devils or Cyclones, too — no matter the reason!
As always, please feel free to contact me — I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance for your support on November 7th!
