Here is a summary of my education as your independent Candidate for the Culpeper County School Board, Salem District:
B.S., Biology, Virginia Tech, 1984
M.Ed., Administration and Supervision, George Mason University, 1991
Current Virginia Teaching License, 2023-2033
Ever since first hearing it in 1979, the Virginia Tech motto resonates strongly with me.
Ut Prosim (Latin)… “That I May Serve”…
Even before my 27 years as an Assistant Principal in Culpeper — and still now as a volunteer, substitute administrator, or test examiner — I am intrinsically motivated to help others, and I derive a great deal of satisfaction from serving and working with other people. This is true in both my personal and professional life.
I would be honored and grateful to serve as your Salem District representative on the CCPS School Board. I pledge to continue to listen to all points of view, to continue to learn, and to always work my hardest!
And a big “Thank You!” to everyone who has already reached out… Your encouragement, suggestions, and support are invaluable!
My Candidate Priorities are articulated on my PRIORITIES page
Remember to vote on November 7th!
